Amanda Wilson is a sought-after Motivational Speaker, Author, and Advocate. Amanda began her career in public service 17 years ago upon graduation from Bethune-Cookman University.

After receiving a graduate degree from Troy University, she ventured into a career in counseling and therapy. She currently serves as an Administrator with the Department of Children and Families and is a registered Mental Health Counselor.

Amanda is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® where she serves as a local Officer.

Amanda believes in serving while lifting others to greater heights, encouraging others to SOAR to their purpose, despite their current circumstance.
She is no stranger to facing adversity, trauma, and grief, and she understands far too well the impact they make in our lives and on our generation.
Amanda is also Founder/CEO of the Be Like Ike Foundation, Inc., a non-profit for purpose inspired by the life and legacy of her late husband, Isiah "Ike" Wilson. A mother of 2 beautiful children that keeps her on her toes, she firmly believes, "If there is breath, there is still hope.”
